Your Tasks

• Planning and implementing data centre services
• Overseeing administration of the international virtualisation infrastructure based on Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere
• Responsibility for the (hyper-convergent) storage solutions used at ALDI
• Further developing our virtual server infrastructure based on Microsoft Windows and Linux according to ITIL
• Planning, configuring and administering existing solutions for data protection

Your Profile

• University degree or apprenticeship with a focus on information technology Basic administrative knowledge in the field of Windows Server (e.g. 2016 or 2019) or Linux (e.g. CentOS)
• Basic knowledge in the creation of scripts (e.g. Gitlab, VSCode, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of storage concepts (e.g. Fibre Channel SAN or vSAN)
• Knowledge of the automation of server configurations (e.g. using Ansible or DSC)
• Commitment, team spirit and a quick perception as well as good English skills
