Your Tasks

• Implementing prototypes and technical solutions in the area of retail innovation
• Developing new solutions using modern technology by taking an explorative and agile approach
• Creating technical solution concepts and designing system architectures for prototypes
• Integrating new solutions into the existing IT architecture
• Reviewing innovative concepts for technical feasibility
• Commissioning, managing and reviewing external development services
• Closely cooperating with national and international IT departments and external partners

Your Profile

Enthusiasm and (preferably also personal) interest in new technologies

• University degree in computer science or similar
• Development experience in several technology areas (e.g. backend, frontend, databases)
• Experience in working with common development platforms and technology stacks (e.g. .NET, Java or Python)
• Initial experience in developing concepts and the architecture of software systems (e.g. cloud architectures or microservices)
• Initial experience in connecting and managing hardware components (e.g. IoT sensors or cameras)
• Initial experience and interest in the different fields of artificial intelligence (e.g. object detection or image classification)
• Sound English language skills
