Senior SW-Developer (m/f/d) Test Automation (Audio/Video Bridging)

Your responsibilities

• Development of concept and design for the automated tests and test environments
• Support Test Manager by planning and test case definition
• Extension and improvement of company test case framework
• Implementation of tests and documentation
• Support by problem analysis and verification of corrective measures in complex software products
• Support junior software developers and testers

Your profile

Mandatory:

• Successful university degree in Informatics, Electrotechnics or similar qualification
• Minimum 5 years professional experience, preferably in the automotive sector
• Vast experience in software design
• Excellent knowledge of network technologies and distributed systems such as time sensitive networks (IEEE 1722-2011 - AVTP)
• Experience in programming languages C/C++
• Experience with version control (git)
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Solid knowledge of build processes and tools (CMake, Make)
• Experience with configuration and change management processes and tools
• Good command of the English language, verbal and written

Preferred:

• ISTQB Foundation Level
• Knowledge of C++11 and higher
• Linux debugging (gdb, strace ...)
• Development experience with embedded systems
• Solid knowledge of scripting in Linux (bash)
• Experience in Agile Projects
• Strong interest in developing highly automated software test systems using build servers (CI/CD)
