The Team:

This is an opportunity to join one of Europe's most widely recognised fashion brands going through a huge modernisation programme and digital transformation.

Initially, you would be attached to one of our key technical teams, currently transitioning from waterfall ways of working to a more agile approach. You would work in close collaboration with SCRUM Masters, Project Managers and Product Managers and really focus on embedding agile ways of working whilst also nurturing the mindset needed to do this.

The Role:

  • Serve as an evangelist and accelerator for adoption of agile ways of working within the organisation, especially within Tech Agile Transformation Process
  • Approach this transition with empathy, understanding and patience whilst always ensuring that the team understand the 'why' and not just the 'how'
  • Agile is an approach and a mindset, not a system that can be implemented over the course of a few days/ weeks. Therefore, adapting to individual personalities and getting the best out of people is a key aspect to the role
  • You will act as a true coach and mentor, understanding when to press people and when to take a alternative approach in order to maximise results and ensure the wellbeing of the team

Useful Experience:

  • Working within a large organisation, acting as the Agile Lead/ Coach
  • Experience of complex environments consisting of both legacy and modern applications, with an appreciation of the different skill sets needed to manage both. Placing equal importance on the happiness and wellbeing of those involved with both sides
  • Strong experience of working as an Agile Coach previously and able to provide examples of key challenges you have overcome in this capacity
