Job Description

MariApps Marine Solutions is a maritime digital solutions company focused on providing maritime enterprises with customized applications and software solutions, specifically its flagship product smartPAL. Headquartered in Singapore, MariApps has development centers in Mumbai and Kochi, India, and sales and support offices in Germany, Cyprus, Dubai, and France.

We are looking for an IT Administrator (m/f/d) to be a part of our IT Team to provide on-site support to 19 brands of the Schulte Group with more than 220 employees in our offices in Hamburg. Occasionally, the role will provide remote support for one of 35 vessels.​

Responsibilities

• Administration and deployment of client mobiles, computers, hardware with Microsoft and Apple operating systems 
• Support on latest Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products
• First and second level user support
• User administration on Active Directory and Office365 email server
• Support, inventory and documentation of network infrastructure in the offices 
• Help to maintain a stock of spare equipment cost-effectiveness rack assets, software licenses and other assigned equipment
• Support vessel IT infrastructures remotely
• Raise ideas toward improving existing processes and policies to provide better service, security, cost effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of use

Requirements

• Commercial qualification as IT system administrator or similar
• At least three years of work experience
• Good communication/language skills (in German and English) and good team working abilities
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems
• Advanced Hardware Knowledge / Knowledge of Office IT infrastructures and system components
