DevOps CI/CD Automation Expert (m/f/x)

Your role is to implement and improve the automation along the entire CI/CD delivery pipeline. You will be part of the Development team closely working together with our QA and Cloud operations team. Besides the core CI/CD Systems consisting of Gitlab, jenkins and Sonatype Nexus. You will support individual Service and Product Environments with automated deployments to multiple environments. Specifically the following tasks will be part your day-to-day work:

• Deployment and configuration of our Java / JEE based applications
• Knowledge of integrating with HAProxy/NGINX/Traefik, PostgreSQL and AD/Freeipa/LDAP directory services
• Close collaboration with the development department to support our DevOps strategy, especially IT automation with technologies such as Ansible, docker, git and Jenkins
• Configuration Management of our DevOps pipeline and projects (Ansible)
• Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Build tools to reduce the number of manual tasks and improve automation and standardization.
• Perform root cause analysis along the pipeline and resolve technical issues

Dein Profil

• Degree in IT or equivalent graduation with several years of professional experience
• Experience with Linux particularly RHEL/CentOS/Alma/Rocky in a VMware virtualized environment
• docker, docker compose and/or Docker Swarm
• Solid experience with Ansible, especially writing well structured roles and playbooks.
• Good knowledge of git/gitlab and Jenkins (declarative pipelines)
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Experience in Shell-Scripting (Bash) and programming (e. g. Python).
• You are capable to implement your own ideas and skills independently or as part of a team
• Good command of the German as well as English language written and spoken
• Problem-solving attitude
