Your task

  • Development of software for our MISTRAL control system platform
  • Development of software products and frameworks that are used both by our internal developers and directly by our scientific instruments end users
  • Development of microservice application modules for the control of complex ultra high vacuum deposition and analysis research systems
  • Specification and design of innovative architectures and customized solutions
  • Be responsible for a broad spectrum from planning to development to tests and implementations
  • Implementation of software projects from the initial stage through customer delivery
  • Working in an agile and interdisciplinary team with short release cycles and a dynamic atmosphere

Your profile

  • Completed degree in computer science, physics, engineering or a related field of study
  • Experience in Software development (C++, .NET, Python)
  • Experience developing software that interfaces with hardware devices through TCP/IP and industrial fieldbus systems
  • Hands-on experience with Linux operating system
  • Basic knowledge of CI tools and workflows (GitLab)
  • DevOps mindset
  • Fluent in English and basic German
  • Hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial thinking and a high degree of flexibility
  • Team orientation and assertiveness
