Senior Developer for Azure SQL Databases (m/f/d)

AirPlus as a leading corporate payment company is developing the next-generation customer-facing B2B report platform with advanced and innovative features. As part of our AirPlus Intelligence team, you'll be an important player in our success story delivering secure, reliable and resilient software under finance regulations.

Aufgaben

You will be part of a Scrum Team and develop an integrated data model for our customer-facing BI web application. Your future work in a business-driven development will include the following tasks:

• Jointly work with other developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, develop, test and deploy relational databases in Azure environments
• Adapt concepts to the respective applications, in turns of creating DDL scripts, Azure SQL Objectives, and pipelines
• Deployment tasks with tools and platforms such as SMSS, ADF, Bitbucket and Jenkins
• Analyse and remedy technical and application-related issues
• Provide 3rd level of support and advise stakeholders on issues
• Mentor junior developers plus developers from other domain areas

Voraussetzungen

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with at least 5 years of experience in the context of data warehouse development in Azure SQL
• As our ideal candidate, you should be an expert in Azure DB technologies
• Your strong skills in SQL/TSQL, Azure Data Factory, building pipelines, Spark technology will be the true value for our future work
• Java, Maven, git and Jenkins will be your tool set towards the automated application deployment in Linux
• A deep understanding of service buses and streaming platforms (particularly Kafka) will be a plus
• You are characterized by a structured & solution-oriented approach
• Ability to work in a team & a hands-on mentality
• Very good English skills, German will be a plus
