YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and store diverse data types, including user interactions, order histories, menu data, and location-based information
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate machine learning models and algorithms into the app to enable personalized recommendations, predictive analytics, and intelligent insights
• Craft and manage data architectures that can scale to accommodate massive data volumes while ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility
• Lead the deployment and scaling of AI models, ensuring they operate effectively in a production environment, and contributing to the app's performance and value
• Establish robust data quality standards, implement validation processes, and create alerting mechanisms to guarantee data accuracy and consistency
• Enhance data pipelines and databases for optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring a seamless user experience while reducing operational expenses
• Implement stringent security measures and compliance protocols to protect sensitive user data and adhere to data protection regulations and standards
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to provide structured datasets for model training and reporting, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ON BOARD

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and data pipeline development
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala and tools commonly used in data engineering and AI (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Familiarity with data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• A deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including model training, deployment, and evaluation
• Prior experience in mobile app development and app analytics tools is a significant advantage
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an analytical mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams
