KYOCERA AVX Components (Munich) GmbH is looking for an IT Global Backup Engineer (m/f/d) in Hallbergmoos.

As IT Global Backup Engineer (m/f/d) you will be a member of the Global IT Operations Team and report directly to the Western Europe IT Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible to design, maintain and update the Global IT backup infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting IT backup related server and data center hardware and software related issues and follow-up until they are solved
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on backup systems
• Install, configure and update on-prem IT backup infrastructure related hardware and software
• Monitor the availability of IT backup systems through existing portals and log/resolve/escalate issues
• Monitoring the performance of IT backup infrastructure
• Jobs standardization and automatization
• Analyze daily, weekly and monthly backup reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the IT environment or equivalent work experience as a IT Backup Engineer (m/f/d)
• Strong Veeam experience
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution
• VMware and Microsoft Server certified
• PowerShell scripting knowledge
• Windows Server all versions, Microsoft Active Directory, Server hardware, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Solid knowledge of MS SQL
• Extended knowledge of HPE servers and different enterprise level Storage solutions
• Strong VMware Fault Tolerance and Storage synchronization experience
• Willingness to travel 10%
