Job/Position Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Reviews

• a. Review and document the acceptance of the requirements, the comments on the testability of the requirements in the requirement management tool DOORS.
• b. Perform review meetings with the requirement responsible (customer) for the unclear requirements.

2. Test Design

• a. Analyze the accepted requirements and derive test specifications from them.
• b. Document the test specifications in the OCTANE tool.

3. Test Automation- Automate the test specifications in the ECU-TEST automation tool.

4. Test Validation- Validate on the HIL/miniHIL environment the automated test cases.

5. Bug Analysis and Reporting

• a. Perform root cause analysis for found issues.
• b. Retest bugs from other levels of testing (car, system, component).
• c. Create bug tickets for the found issues in the OCTANE bug reporting tool.

Required skills:

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or a similar subject
• Good understanding of testing concepts, practical experience working with HiL systems (dSpace systems preferred)
• Knowledge of using hardware systems from ETAS and Vector. Hands On with tools like INCA, Lauterbach and E- Sys
• Experience in design and development of Functional Tests (ECU-Test know-how would be advantage, not mandatory)
• Good know-how about Automotive Communication Protocols, specifically CAN.
• Automotive Domain know-how, able to understand Simulink models, need not have working experience in Simulink
• A go-getter attitude
• Fluent English and German (B1 minimum) language skills.
• Solution-oriented, analytical thinking and good communication skills.

Nice to have skills:

• Programming/scripting experience with Python (C, C++ knowhow).
• ISTQB Certification (Basic Level) would be added advantage.
• Any experience in the Electric Vehicle domain (charging, e-machine, battery management) will give us a jump start.
