CloudOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Join our dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer! As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our cloud migration efforts, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Public Cloud and Private Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting applications and services.
• Implement best practices for cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.

2. System Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor system performance, identifying and implementing areas for improvement.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

3. Automation and Scripting:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine operational tasks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate deployments.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

5. Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

• Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure promptly.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

6. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and IT, to support project initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) as preference.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills in both English and German (min. B2 level).

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
