Backend Developer Industrial IoT (m/f/d)

KINEXON Industries builds integrated real-time solutions for indoor and outdoor localization, motion sensing and connectivity.
Our resulting analytics and predictions enable our customers to better understand, automate and improve processes and products.

THE TEAM AND ITS MISSION

We are a dynamic international team developing a UWB based Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) enabling our solutions in industries applications. To realize the precision and scalability of our product for modern IoT solutions, we are developing a full stack of software components including firmware, backend and frontend applications.

OUR TECH STACK

We utilize a diverse tech stack to develop our services. In the backend, C++ is still our main language, but we are slowly transitioning to include multiple different languages depending on our specific needs. The set includes TypeScript as well as Golang. In the frontend, we use Vue.js for our configuration and insights UIs and Rust with WASM if we require more performance. For managing the deployment of our distributed system as well as aiding our development needs, we make use of a dockerized workflow.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a backend developer, you will play a crucial role in building the components facing internal and external customers. We will trust you to design and develop monitoring and configuration services and designing APIs within our RTLS ecosystem, focusing on real-time networking, microservice architectures, parallel processing, distributed systems configuration and monitoring, continuous integration and delivery, and full-stack system testing.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in at least one of our major programming languages such as C++ or Golang
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Good Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
• You are open to dive into new tech stacks and keep up to date with current tech trends
• You are a reliable team player willing to take on responsibility and move the team forward with your own solutions
