Data Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect and implement data pipelines, including analytical functions for our code library, and unit tests
• Refactor existing functionality to achieve better performance and reliability
• Deliver insights at scale by querying resulting data and creating appealing visualizations
• Contribute to the technical vision of the data pipeline area
• Engage in improving data engineering processes to ensure scalability, data accuracy, integrity and consistency
• Collaborate with partners across the product and customer success teams

YOUR QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or alike (Master’s preferred)
• 2+ years relevant experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist or similar
• Technical proficiency with Python, PySpark, SQL (preferably T-SQL) and tools for data extraction and visualization
• Strong knowledge of OOP including SOLID and clean code principles, unit testing, development Ops practices and tools
• Experience in working with large datasets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a bonus)
• Experience working in agile teams
• Independent work mode, strong decision-making skills, ability to solve complex technical problems
• Preferred: Proficiency with Git, Databricks, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and Azure Cloud services such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL databases, Azure Data Factory
• Preferred: Experience in the B2B SaaS domain
