Software Developer Embedded Web Interface (m/f/x)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

These are the main tasks:

• Development of new functions on an embedded web interface
• Implementing and improving the frontend to control our RF generators and matching networks
• Maintenance/improvement of the embedded web server setup
• Improvement and implementation of SW modules for the backend
• Hardware-related software development in C++ on an embedded Linux system
• Improving the usability and design of our web frontend
• Support in the definition of specifications as part of the requirement engineering process
• Definition of test specifications and implementation of automated tests
• Documentation in English language

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (m/f/d) in computer science, electronics or equivalent knowledge with several years of experience
• Experience with modern web applications and Java script frameworks running on an embedded Linux system
• Experience in the configuration of web servers, especially nginx
• Good database knowledge, especially Sqlite
• Very good knowledge of JS, PHP
• Experience in the use of frameworks such as Angular
• Good knowledge of C++
• Experience in the development of modules on an embedded Linux system
• Good knowledge of the use and design of REST APIs and knowledge of automated testing of web-based interfaces (e.g. Robot Framework based test systems)
• "Clean code" is not an unknown concept for you
• Experience with automated build systems (e.g. Jenkins) is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English and at least a good knowledge of German
• Open to learning new things
