(Junior) IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Deine Aufgaben

• Design, deploy, and maintain a semi-automated system for regular Vulnerability Scans and Penetration Tests across all company assets.
• Conduct Incident Handling, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
• Execute proactive Threat Hunting initiatives to detect and neutralize advanced threats that evade existing security measures.
• Manage the Vulnerability Management lifecycle, including identification, evaluation, mitigation, and reporting of security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure the secure configuration of systems and the application of best security practices.
• Prepare and present reports on security assessments, incidents, and ongoing threat investigations to senior management.

Dein Profil

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, techniques, and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard methods and practices.
• Familiarity with Vulnerability Management tools and Penetration Testing methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Incident Response protocols and Threat Hunting techniques.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information and data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in English and German
