QA + Testing Manager (m/f/d)

Job description/tasks

• Work closely with the project management, developers and ecommerce teams to review requirements and technical outlines of feature(s) to provide timely and meaningful feedback in a cross-functional, self-organized agile team
• Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to identify software issues, webshop bugs, performance optimization opportunities, and perform frontend + backend test.
• You are responsible for the go-live of new features, designs and applications for technically functional acceptance.
• Apply testing processes for new and existing features and processes
• Perform regression testing
• Develop company-fitting and track quality assurance metrics
• Detailed error analysis (server log files, database)
• Stay up to date with new testing tools, test strategies and methodologies
• Be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition through realization to demo and final feature delivery from quality assurance perspective
• Support user acceptance assessments when needed
• Design, develop and execute automated test cases
• Educate key users after project launches about use-cases for testing daily procedures

Requirement profile

• Extensive experience in techniques to analyze and derive test plans and test cases from Product Owner + other stakeholder requirements. Ensuring the quality and stability of our webshops as well as continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and defect descriptions
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of scripting and code review, code-based webshop experience – especially on platforms like SAP, ShopWare or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Solid knowledge of different APIs (REST, SOAP)
• Experience in working in agile environments with methods and tools like Kanban, Confluence, Jira, Asana, and others
• Ability to work independently and as part of an agile team
• Degree in technical engineering, software development or comparable qualifications/experience
• Key testing certification is preferable
• "Just do it" attitude and open mindset
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
