Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality visual effects that enhance the player’s experience and immersion in the game
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and engineers to ensure the visual effects align with the overall vision of the game
- Optimize visual effects for performance without sacrificing quality, ensuring smooth gameplay
- Author and integrate highly optimized game assets
- Utilize Unreal Engine’s Niagara system and scripting to create complex and dynamic effects
- Create and refine materials using Unreal Engine to achieve the desired visual fidelity
Requirements
- Professional experience with Unreal Engine
- High proficiency in Niagara and Niagara scripting
- High proficiency in creating complex Unreal materials
- Ability to author highly optimized game assets
- Good knowledge of Unreal Blueprints
- Basic understanding of HLSL/GLSL shader language
- Proficiency in German
Bonus Skills
- Passion for gaming
- Experience with Houdini
- Experience with Substance Designer
- Experience with Blender
- Knowledge of Physically Based Rendering (PBR)
