Diagnostics and Vehicle Programming Engineer (gn)

YOUR TASKS:

• Definition of diagnostics requirements (DIDs, Routings, IO Control, DTCs…) aligned to the customer feature content
• As a part of a diagnostics team, develop concepts and requirements for diagnostics architecture, diagnostics master, onboard diagnostics functions, remote diagnostic, tester tool and vehicle programing for the entire vehicle, from engineering concept phase to service
• Definition of diagnostics requirements for Vehicle Level System Functions like Vehicle States Manager, Vehicle Fault Manager, Station Manager or Network Manager
• Create logical function architecture for the diagnostics functions
• Interface work between the various development areas including production and aftersales
• Creation and release of CDD files, including the alignment with the Design Release Engineers and if appropriate Tier 1 suppliers

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience with onboard diagnostic communication, remote diagnostics, software over the air updates
• Experience in vehicle level system architecture development programs is preferable
• Experience with UML/SysML languages and for example tools like Vector PREEvision is preferable
• Experience with Automotive Standards like CAN FD, UDS, ODX, OTX, DoIP
• Experience with Vector CANdela Studio or similar tools is preferable
• Good understanding of Software Architecture, ideally AUTOSAR based
• Well-developed conceptual skills and the ability to understand complex systems in order to develop creative and successful technical solutions
• Analytical and self-directed way of working as well as self-initiative, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Continuous willingness to learn and curiosity for future architecture generations (e.g. service-oriented architectures) and use of new technologies (e.g. Ethernet)
• Very good English language skills. German is preferable
